Here I will say my first sentence in my uncle's story. There will be no music at this time and the mood will eventually start to shift (from happy to sad to hopeful) throughout the rest of my video.
Here I will talk about how my uncle Gary chose to continue to receive care at his home. I will also talk about why he chose to stay in his family room. The music will be quieter and softer.
Here I will talk about how my family and I went over to his house every day this past summer to spend time with him. The music will continue to be quieter and softer.
Here I will talk about my uncle's sickness progressively getting worse and worse. I will also talk about how at times I was strong and held in my tears but there were times when I couldn't and I would cry. I will also say "My family and I knew we had to be strong for my uncle and his family." The music will be sad and quiet.
Here I will talk about the last moments my family and I had with my uncle Gary before he passed away in a bed at his home. I will also say "I will not remember him by his cold body and pale face but by the loving, kind-hearted, and selfless man he is." The music will still be sad and quiet.
Here I will talk about an important lesson I learned throughout this tough time which is, having hope can get you through anything. I will conclude with talking about how my uncle never stopped having hope in life even when he was battling with cancer. The music will become soft again and it will still be quiet.
