Atticus comes home and confirms that Aunt Alexandra is going to stay for a while. He tells Jem and Scout that Aunt Alexandra is doing him a favor by watching them because the summer's going to be a hot one.
Aunt Alexandra wants Jem and Scout to act like Finches. She tells Atticus to talk to the children about acting differently and they become confused on why Atticus is talking to them like this.
