Andrew Jackson should be on the $20 bill due to the fact as he was a decently good man with morales even though he did do things that were greedy.

Hey everyone back on another episode of history! Have any of you heard of Jacksonian Democracy? Jacksonian democracy was an idea of giving political power to everyone and see to the majority rule. Jackson used majority rule and spreading political power to persuade citizens to vote for him in the election and used the idea of helping common people to aid himself in the election. This was beneficial for citizens and proves why he should be on the bill.
The spoils system was when a political party gave government jobs to loyal supporters or even friends Jackson introduced this when he became president to bring in loyal government civil positions This helps bring loyalty into the government and which is what shows why he should be on the $20 bill.
The indian removal act was passed by congress and stated that the government would negotiate treaties with native americans to move west. Jackson heavily enforced this due to his thought of thinking it was just and liberal. He believed that this would allow Native americans to keep there way life. This was wrong and selfish and one reason why Jackson shouldn't be president
States rights was a debate over if the federal government or states should receive more power. States rights was a big debate between Daniel Webster and Robert Y. Hayne. Jackson was involved during a party for Jefferson and stated that our federal union must be preserved. This supports the states rights and shows good Morales.
The war on the national bank refers to the struggle in which the second bank of the United States was recharter. On 1833 Andrew Jackson announced that the second bank of the United States will no longer be used by the government. This does show him being selfish but overall he deserves too be on the $20 bill
