  • I created the three laws of motion and also discovered gravity !
  • Francis Bacon ( January 22,1561 - April 9,1626)
  • I established the Baconian Method.
  • William Harvey was a English physician who discovered how blood was circulated throughout the human body. Many people rejected Harvey's theory because of ancient doctrines. But this is important because it sparked the use of scientific method.
  • Johannes Kepler (December 27,1571 -November 15,1630)
  • I discovered the three major laws of planetary motion!
  • Issac Newton laid out the three blueprints of the laws of motion. His discoveries made a huge impact on science he made science the way it is today. Issac first discovered gravity in 1687.
  • Evangelista Torricelli (October 15,1608- October 25,1647)
  • I invented the barometer!

  • Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit (May,1686 - September 16,1736)
  • I made the thermometer more accurate!
  • He was a German astronomer that discovered the three major laws of planetary motion. But he did not refer them as laws but as "Celestial Harmonies". His major contribution to the scientific revolution was his formulation of the laws of planetary motion.
  • Evangelista Torricelli is responsible for making the barometer. He invented during the 1640s. He invented it by filling glass with a liquid metal called mercury. It changed by the pressure in the atmosphere. It is used in meteorology to forecast short term changes in weather.
  • Even though Galileo invented the thermometer. But in the early 1700's, German scientist made it more accurate. He put a liquid metal called mercury in a glass tube and if it got warmer the mercury would expand and rise to the top.
