  • Lies and Deciet
  • Elizabeth Proctor's soul crept into my room and stabbed me with a pin!
  • The hysteria the girls caused can be seen in the scene when Marry Warren testifies against the other girls until they start o pretend a giant yellow bird is attacking them that was sent by Marry Warren's soul.
  • Lust
  • Proctor had redeemed himself from his sin of lechery by refusing to be a liar and confess to working with the devil when he never did.
  • Pride
  • Abigail's tyranny of lying about witchcraft led to the deaths and accusations of hundreds of people in Salem.
  • This is an example of lust because while Elizabeth was ill and neglected Proctor, he lusted for Abigail which led to relations in the Proctor barn.
  • Giles Corey kept his pride when being pressed to death by asking for more weight instead of confessing to witchcraft which would have been a lie.
  • More weight
