  • The Americans and The British had a Battle, The battle of Saratoga. The Battle of Saratoga was lead by leaders, On the American side George Washington was the General. Other helping hands were Haratio Gates Colonel, Benidict Arnold, and Colonel Danial Morgan. On the British side General John Burgoyne was leading the British army. Also Simon Fraser and Baron Riedese where there to help.
  • The Battle of Saratoga took place on September 19th, 1777 and lasted 18 days till October 7th, 1777. The Battle took place in Stillwater, Saratoga County, New York.
  • British General Join Burgoyne led a large invasion army southward from Canada in the champion valley. Hoping to meet another British force marching northward from New York and another one eastward. The southern and western forces never showed up to meet with John. American forces surrounded the British.
  • After the 18 days since the battle started Burgoyne surrendered 10 days after they have been surrounded by the Americans.
