  • The Ode
  • Creon is in his palace, distraught and tiresome. It's been 2 days from the deaths of his wife and son. Creon stands at a window, looking down over the city. It looks as if a sea had washed away their voices. The city, stands quiet. The messenger stands behind the king, awaiting for the time in where Creon turns to talk. Creon turns to the messenger bringing word, it’s time to bury Eurydice and Haemon. The whole city awaits. Creon takes his time, thinking about his family, on the way to the cemetery. Scared to face those kaskets.
