  • The legend of Romulus and Remus.
  • the Etruscan influence of engineering.
  • Ancient Rome is off the Italian peninsula. The Italian peninsula is a very mountainous and rocky region.
  • Etruscan influence of sports on the Romans
  • There were once two brothers named Romulus and Remus who were raised by wolves. then one day they returned to the kingdom and they battled each other for the name of the kingdom.
  • Greek influence on architecture
  • The Etruscan built and made many things we still use today. one of those things is an arch. the arch is used to hold up walls or buildings.
  • Greek influence on roman religion, writing, and art.
  • English class

  • The Etruscan gave the Romans the idea of chariot races. chariot race were extremely merciless for example if some one falls of their chariot the horse will plow right over the person.
  • The Greeks gave the Romans the idea of columns which were used to hold up buildings and were used as decoration. There are three types of columns used today, the Doric, ionic, and the Corinthian columns.
  • the Greeks influenced roman art by giving them the idea of pottery. they influenced their writing system because the Romans write in all capital letters and the roman alphabet is a modified version of the Greek alphabet. They influenced their religion because the Romans used the same exact Greek gods but the only thing they did to change them was they changed their names from Greek names to roman names.
