beginning: "what have you one?" said the emperor "I have flown in the sky, your excellency" replied the man
"What's this!" cried the flier, bewildered. "What have I done?" He began to weep, so that the beautiful paper apparatus rustled
"If you asked me what I have done, here I could answer you well. I have made birds sing, I have made forest murmur.......That is what I have done."
"Who is to say that someday just such a man, in just such an apparatus of paper and reed, might fly in the sky and drop huge stones upon the great wall of china"
In the beginning the flier took responsibility for what he has created
The king gets out his machine and he takes responsibility for the machine he has created
In the middle the emperor asks what have you done and the flier doesn't know what he did, so he didn't take responsibility
In the end hes saying that the flier should have took responsibility for creating the machine and could have caused chaos on the great wall of china
