Storyboard Text

  • Joan disguised as a male, and went to Charles to join the army. She was valuable to the army because she was a psychic so she could see bad events before they happened. Charles tested her by dressing as a commoner to see if Joan could find him. Joan did find him and she did.
  • I am Joan's voices that only occur because she is mentally insane! 
  • I hope he sees that my psychic powers are good and knows I'm sent by God.
  • Charles gave Joan of Arc a suit of strong suit of armor, but no sword. Joan predicted that they would find a sword behind a church using her psychic abilities. Her prediction was proven correct when they found a sword behind a church.  
  • With my suit of armor I will assist the French in the winning of this battle!
  • Joan had began hearing voices one she turned 13, telling her to do many tasks. She had a very normal childhood with attending church, praying daily, and other common things. Her voices were telling her to join the French army, but she was too young to at that age. 
  • I am a normal 13 year old girl, except I hear voices that make me look mentally insane.

  • The English was worried about Joan, and they paid the Burgundian's a large ransom for Joan. They trapped Joan by closing the drawbridge, and they got hold of Joan. Once they captured her, they threw Joan into the English prison until her trial.
  • I hope I am found innocent. They may accuse me or being a witch because I hear voices.
  • They accused Joan of heresy and witchcraft when she was on trial. The court made seventy accusations against Joan of Arc, heresy and witchcraft only being 2. Joan of Arc was executed on May 30, 1431. There were many people watching her execution, as it was a big deal. 
  • Joan of Arc was a beloved Saint and French hero to this day. She proved that a girl could be brave and a great leader. After some time her family reopened her case, and they found that Joan of Arc was found innocent of all the things they accused her of.
