Today we are here to ratify the constitution. I, James Madison think we should ratify or sign it.
And I, Thomas Jefferson will not sign until something is put in saying we are safe from another tyrant.
In order for all of us to ratify the constitution we must add something. But if we add something you all must sign it. Jefferson, what do you have in mind?
I smell a rat.
It should be called the Bill of Rights and have 10 amendments all of them saying how our rights as people will be safe.
On this day, September 17th, 1787 we will sign we will sign the document that America will run on. George Washington, as the president of this convention, will you do the honors of being the first to sign it?
