  • Tsar Nicholas was the ruler of Russia, however it was him who made the government corruopt
  • Most of Russia was made up of Peasants and this was because the Tsar favored rich people rather than the poor.
  • An event known as Bloody Sunday lasted for two years, from 1905 to 1907.
  • It is called Bloody Sunday because 200 people were killed and 800 were wounded. The police and troops opened a fire at St. Petersburg  where it all began.
  • In June 1905, the sailors went on a battle ship known as the Potemkin
  • This leads to the October manifesto.
