Another tax after the Stamp Act was put into place for the colonists. England tried being indirect this time but colonists caught on and became furious.

Lets boycott England!
A large crowd of Boston citizens started an arguement with British soldiers guarding Boston. A shot was fired and 5 colonists were killed. Colonists was angry and hated on the British soldiers for murdering citizens.
Lexington & Concord 1775
Britain enforced that said that the colonists can only buy British tea. In response to this, protestors raided British ships, dressed as Indians, and dumped tea.
Representatives from 12 states met in conference to discuss matters. All the conference members agreed to boycott England & send England requests for the colonies.
England rejected all of the requests sent from the previous conference. After, England sent British troops to Lexington & Concord. Minutemen were ready for any war. A shot was heard from an unknown person and that came as a sign to war.
