A ship returning from the war stops at an island. this ship was Odysseus's.
Odysseus and his crew arrive at the island and head to a nearby cave. By going inside, Odysseus displayed Hubris because he thought the cave was empty without checking
The cave is then blocked by a rock. The rock was placed there by Polyphemus, The largest of the cyclops.
Polythemus was inside the cave when he placed the rock. He had herded sheep in with him
During his sleep, Polyphemus was stabbed in the eye by Odysseus. This story tells children not to go into places that are not 100 guarenteed safe.
