Storyboard Text

  • Aeneas and the remaining survivors leave Troy as it is being destroyed. They head to the shores of Antander to go on ships to leave.
  • The first stop on Aeneas' journey was Thrace where he saw the slaughter son of Priam, Polydorus, as Aeneas was about to make a sacrifice.
  • Then Aeneas holds a funeral for Polydorus out of respect.
  • R.I.P Polydorus
  • Once the funeral is done Aeneas goes to the island of Delos to talk to Apollo. Apollo tells him to go the land of his ancestors.
  • Anchises takes that to mean the island of Crete. That is the home of one of the Trojan forefathers, Teucrus.
  • Once they reach the island they start building a city but a terrible plague strikes and make Aeneas think the gods wanted him to build the city somewhere else.
