Latin Aeneid Book 3 Santana
This storyboard does not have a description.
Aeneas and the remaining survivors leave Troy as it is being destroyed. They head to the shores of Antander to go on ships to leave.
The first stop on Aeneas' journey was Thrace where he saw the slaughter son of Priam, Polydorus, as Aeneas was about to make a sacrifice.
Then Aeneas holds a funeral for Polydorus out of respect.
Once the funeral is done Aeneas goes to the island of Delos to talk to Apollo. Apollo tells him to go the land of his ancestors.
Anchises takes that to mean the island of Crete. That is the home of one of the Trojan forefathers, Teucrus.
Once they reach the island they start building a city but a terrible plague strikes and make Aeneas think the gods wanted him to build the city somewhere else.
