A chilly November afternoon in 1844 a drunk man reads the newspaper and a magazine but doesn't understand what he is reading.
The man reads a story about a guy in London that died from swallowing a needle. He thinks that the story is too dumb to believe.
Drunken man hears a voice and thinks it's in his head. After hearing the voice again he looks and sees a man made out of liquor bottles.

The guy made out of liquor bottles says that he is a angel. The drunk man doesn't believe him because he doesn't have wings.
The Angel of the Odd leaves and the man decides to take a short nap before his meeting for his home insurance. He doesn't wake up in time for his appointment.
The drunken guy goes to bed for the night and forgets to put candle out. He dreams about the angel that visited him earlier.
