Galileo was born on February 15, 1564. In 1609, Galileo heard about the invention of the telescope in Holland. Without having seen an example , he constructed a superior version and made many astronomical discoveries.
He established that if there is no air resistance, everything fails at the ground at the same rate same rate regardless to the weight. Galileo was an Italian astronomer, physicist, engineer, philosopher, and mathematician, who played a major role in the Scientific Revelation of the seventeenth century.
Galileo died in Acetri, Italy on January 8, 1642. Tried to measure the speed of light, but found it was to fast for him to measure. Stated the principle inertia. Then later became Newtons First Law of Motion.
