The eye is gone thank god. The eye goaded the life out of me.
Setting: The old man's house Situation/Climate: It's intense because throughout the story the narrator is Stalking the old man just because of his eye. Characters - The old man, the narrator, and the police officers.
For the narrator he made the old man's eye essential because he wanted to get rid of his eye. Every night the narrator would go into the old man's bedroom and look at his eye just because it looked weird.
The narrator vehemently killed the old man by cutting his arms off, his legs,his body, and his head. He covered his murder by placing planks over the floor so no one can notice it.
The cops arrive at the scene and the narrator shows the house to the officers and find nothing, then the narrator invites them to sit and chat for a while which is a act of consolation.
The narrator uncovers the subjugated body of the old man because he can't take the quilt anymore so he shows the police officers.
