Storyboard Text

  • Rulers abuse their power when they separate it from compassion!
  • They’re all welcome. What worries have kept you awake tonight?
  • Can I have a word with you?
  •  What oath do we need other than that we honest men have told each other that this will happen or we will die trying?
  •
  • The night before the idles of March, Brutus decides that he must kill Caesar because Caesar will abuse his power as king.
  • He’ll be as useless as Caesar’s arm after Caesar’s head is cut off.
  • As the idles of March approaches, Cassius, Casca, Decius, Metellus, Trebonius (the conspiracy) enter into Brutus's home.
  • Bounded by the sad faces of fellow men, their own suffering, and the present corruption, the conspiracy agrees to kill Caesar today on the Idles of March.
  • Start walking, and with an energized heart, I’ll follow you
  • The conspiracy debates whether or not they should kill Mark Anthony.  However, Brutus convinces them not to because Anthony will be useless once Caesar is dead.
  • The conspirators leave at around 3 in the morning. Everything is set, they will kill Caesar on the idle of March!
  • Ligarius enters with a sickness. However, he instantly becomes better once Brutus tells him that they have a plan to help Rome. They exit as Brutus tells him the plan.
