Storyboard Text

  • Hello My name is Toby Anderson and I will be your tour guide today.Right now we are in the northern region of Mexico. Here is is mostly dry and hot so let's travel to a different  area in the northern region of Mexico were it is a little cooler.
  • Not all of northern Mexico is hot and dry it can actually reach below freezing often in the winter. Here it is relatively on high ground so the air tends to be thinner.
  • Wow , we finally made it even though it is night time now. We made it to the steppe mountains, rocky, high elevation land. In fact, where we are right here is the lowest point of all the steppies, a half a mile above sea level, but the highest point is 2 miles above sea level! Isn't that pretty neat. Tomorrow we will visit the central regions of Mexico.
  • Some parts of central Mexico have tropical region and are very humid. Sunny and rainy climates are found here.
  • In Southern Mexico there are over 3000 active volcanoes and one of then is the El Chichon which erupted in 1982.
  • Our Final destination, one of many beautiful caves in Southern Mexico. You can find all sorts of minerals in caves like gold, silver, zinc which is sold to other countries.
