I will be talking about the day I became a superhero!
Hi! My name is Akila and I am the daughter of the pharoah, Amenhotep III.
Wow father! The goddess Sekmet is so cool!
She is the godess of healing. We must worship and please her.- Akila? are you okay?
her pupils are red and there's a sun disk on her face!
Her name is Akila. She introduces herself and will be talking about the day she became a superhero. She is in her house and the sun is shining brightly. A cheerful music is playing.
I will help people with my healing powers, I will do that by travelling in the Nile river to civilisations.
Flash back to 2 years ago. Akila and her father visited the temple of Sekhmet. the warrior goddess of healing. While they are talking, Akila suddenly gets dizzy and her father had a worried look in his face.
Thank you so much! You're all too kind.
Shifa! Shifa! Shifa!
People are scattered near Akila in her bed room. While they are observing her, a sundisk appears on her face and her pupils turn red. Akila dreams about Sekhmet telling her that she gave her powers (which explains the sun disk and the red pupils) to her and that she had to choose the power of healing or the power of fighting in order to protect her people. Akila chooses healing.
Let's capture her and keep her powers to ourselves!
To carry out her mission, Akila decides to travel in the Nile river because most civilisations started there. Cities like Cairo, Heliopolis, Dendera etc. started out near the Nile because of the flood that causes good soil and thriving agriculture. They can be use to provide food for the people, animals and also transportation which will provide livelihood like trading and fishing.
I choose to do that because Sekhmet gave me her powers and I must use them for good.
For months Akila travels along river Nile, visiting many civilisations such as Giza, Amarna etc and went to their mud brick homes. People started to know her and thank her for her actions, they even had a name for her, Shifa, which in arabic translates to "healing". They started to worship her as a human god. The people in ancient Egypt made temples like the abydos temple and temple of horus for their gods and also located them near the nile river so that they can offer their agriculture and resources in order to please them.
Spies from another country were tasked to investigate and find out who this "Shifa" was. Once they witnessed her healing they grew jealous and decided to capture her and keep her in their country.
