  • Hey, Mom. I'm sorry for flipping out. I didn't mean it. My schoolwork has been really stressful lately and I don't know how to deal with it.
  • Jack, that is your fifth explosion this school year. When are you going to get a grip on your schoolwork?
  • Yea, I get that, but they're all doing it at the same time. It's beginning to get really stressful. I have to get started, I'll be back down for dinner.
  • Well, I get that they are trying to get a few more assignments to, potentially, help you.
  • I can't eat right now, Mom! Just leave me alone to do my work.
  • You didn't come down to eat is ever-
  • You're right. I have to go apologize. It's just that my nerves and everything make me flustered.
  • However, I never came back for dinner and got too invested into all of my assignments.

  • My mother had come to my room and wondered why I didn't come downstairs to eat. I snapped without thinking and made my mother upset.
  • Well, something that worked for me is if I get an assignment from my boss, I do it right away so that there is no chance I procrastinate or forget about it.
  • After hearing me say this to my mother, my sister stormed into the room and began to chastise me. Immediately, I felt guilty.
  • What is your problem. Mom is really upset right now. You better hope Dad doesn't find out.
