Timing: 10 seconds Lighting: Cold lighting Camera: Camera starts with long shot, showing everything in the hospital room and it moves closer and closer, zooming in on the young Joker's mom's face.
Key dialogue: The young Joker's evil step mom yells at him and tells him to stop sulking over his mother's death. She tells him to fake a smile if he really can't be happy. Timing: 1 min 30 seconds Lighting: Dark lighting(evening) Camera: Long shot, characters are in the middle of the screen. Shifts to a big close up on step mom's face in the last 5 seconds. Shifts to an extreme close up on step mom's mouth in the last second.
Sound: Voice over representing the young Joker's thoughts. Lighting: High key lighting Timing: 2 minutes Thoughts by the young Joker: "Why are other kids happy and I am not? Why can't I be that kid being entertained by the clown? Maybe I should be the clown instead and make other people happy" Camera: Over the shoulder angle, only showing the side of the young Joker's face which is out of focus. Focus is on the clown and the little girl.
Sound: Kids screaming, others crying Lighting: High key lighting Timing: 30 seconds Key dialogue by the young Joker: "What did I do? I just wanted to make you guys laugh, just like the clown did at the carnival city yesterday. Is it my white face? Well that is how my mother looked like when she died and she still looked beautiful"
Sound: Mystery sound track, sounds of other inmates stuttering, "mhh" sounds by the young Joker. Lighting: Dark lighting Timing: 20 seconds Action: The young Joker was arrested for scaring other children at school with his look. All the inmates are scared of him even though he is the youngest. He is plotting his next actions. Dialogue by the young Joker: "Well if they want me to scare them for real then I will do so. I will force them to smile like my step mother did since well they don't appreciate my efforts. Here comes chaos!" Camera: Long shot, the young Joker is in the middle. Camera comes closer and closer to his face, showing his dodgy smile.
