  • In the 1920s, many woman started to throw away moral beliefs and the traditional way woman are supposed to act and dress. Women became more independent and started chasing after a lifestyle of dancing, riches, and fame. In The Great Gatsby Daisy talks about how she would like her daughter to be a beautiful fool because in Daisy's opinion that was the key to living a happy life full of riches and fame. "That's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool". page 21.
  • Before, Women in the 1920s were all about the party scene and the glitz and the glam of The Roaring 20s as well as the fashion. In todays world, most women have the independence to  do and wear whatever they want. They have the independence to make their own choices. They can work if they  want or stay at home.
