The mom and dad are discussing the PTA meeting that the mom is going to go to. The mother is going to find Charles's mom and talk to her. Shows that the parents are not interested in Laurie's behavior but Charles's.
Laurie's mom finds the kindergarten Teacher and asks about Charles. Reveals that the kid Laurie spoke of doesn't exist, and was in fact Laurie.
