The first thing she sees is Graysen hanging out with Katie, a popular, stuck up girl. Lilly believes that she’s always had something against her. Lilly walks up to them.
Lilly: Hey, best friend. (she says sarcastically) Graysen doesn’t reply. Instead, he and Katie look at her like she’s crazy. Lilly :Wow, no reply? Interesting. I see how you act when a new girl walks into your life and gives you the slightest bit of attention.
Katie pulls Graysen and practically drags him into school. Lilly stares at them off in the distance with a distraught look on her face. Katie: I thought I told you to cut her off, Graysen. Graysen: Come on, Kate. We’ve been best friends for almost eight years. It’s really not that easy.
Katie: I know it’s not that easy. That’s why I gave you a week. You either have to choose between me or her. Graysen had made his decision.
He texted LILLY. “Lills, come to the cafeteria. I need to tell you something.” She was extremely reluctant to show up, but she still wanted to hear what he had to say.
Graysen: Hey, Lills. I ju- Lilly :You don’t get to call me that anymore. Graysen: Come on, Lilly. Don’t act like that. I’m sorry.
