  • France Goes Bankrupt
  • The Estates Meet
  • National Assembly is formed
  • France has gone bankrupt. There are many reasons. France collected to little on the taxes that they make people give them, the nobility pays almost nothing. Also food prices are to high.
  • Oath Of The Tennis Court
  • This is the meeting of the estates general, the third estate walks out and forms the National assembly.           
  • Riots Break Out
  • After the three estates general met, the the third assembly walked out and made the National Assembly
  • Bastille Day
  • The Oath of the tennis court is a promise to write a constitution for France.
  • The people that were working to make money were not making any money. They were not given money to pay for needs. So people that were working stopped and went in riots to protest. 
  • Groups of people started to arm themselves. One of the groups set off for the Bastille. At the Bastille, people and crowds the crowd demanded for the governor to give them his cannons and other guns. The enraged crowd surged into the bastille and killed the governer, soldiers, and other officials.
