Well I could participate more and I guess I wouldn't waste energy on being angry.
I think it's great that you see there is a problem in your life. Listing the pros and cons can also be helpful in creating a change plan.
Maybe as a first step, you could begin a self-monitoring form. After a group is finished, you can write it down along with any emotions you feel.
I don't know if I'm ready for that yet.
That's okay. Just remember to keep identifying the good and the bad that could come along with a change in behavior.
It may not be easy, but change is important. You're making the first move towards change and that is a great start.
