A St. Bernard, sheep dog mix named Buck lives with a judges family on their large property. Buck had always thought that he was the king of whoever and wherever he was.
One of the judges land workers (Manuel) takes Buck in the middle of the night and sells him to a man in a red sweater. The worker sold Buck to earn more money for himself because he wasted all of his on gambling instead of on his family.
The man in the red sweater teaches Buck not to defy the human, he beats Buck with a club. The man takes care of Buck until two sledding french man buy him. this was the law of the club.
The small dog curly was killed by the other dogs. this is because Curly was unable to protect herself. This is the law of the fang. To do whatever you need to do in order to survive. from this day, Buck promised himself that he would do anything he could to survive.
The two french men and tie up Buck and their other dogs to their sled and gets them used to the reins. This is where Buck is finally understanding what was happening around him and when he starts to accept that.
Buck now learns from and gets along with the other dogs. this is the law of the fang. his civilized instincts are now long gone and his primal instincts and showing through.
