Storyboard Text

  • Navigation act: contributed to the American revolution when Britain made it a law that the colonists could only trade raw goods and materials with them.
  • Britain: you can only trade raw goods and materials with me!
  • Colonists: that's not fair, so were going to smuggle goods our selves.
  • French and Indian war:  the Indians declared war against  Britain which concluded that Britain won, so the Indians had to share their land with the British and the colonists were not very happy.
  • ATTACK!
  • Sugar act: Britain taxed the colonists on tea and molasses, so colonists decide to protest and boycott.
  • Colonists: throw the tea overboard, all the tea!
  • Colonists: Nooooooooooo, we will protest.
  • Britain: I am taxing all tea and molasses!
  • Stamp act: Colonists protest for having to pay taxes for stamps and seals.
  • Colonists: WE DON'T WANT TO PAY TAXES FOR STAMPS OR SEALS!
  • Quartering act: Colonists had to house and feed the soldiers.
  • Soldier: let me in I am a soldier you have to feed me and give your bed.
  • Townshend act: colonists protest for having to pay taxes on tea, glass, and other items by throwing tea overboard.
