When Patty goes home, she goes straight to Stanley's room. Even though she knows that he will not understand her, she tells him all about her day.
Patty Miller is just getting home from her best friend's house. Her parents, Tara and Marcus, are waiting for her at the door while her little brother, Stanley is napping in his room. Tara Seems eager to share something with her. When she gets mom to talk, she reveals that dad got a promotion, and they have to move to Virginia.
Leave her alone!!!
A month later, The Miller family arrives at their new house. Patty and Stanley are not thrilled, but mom and dad are ecstatic. Patty only has a couple days until she begins at her new school in Yorktown, Virginia. Patty was bullied at her old school, so she already knows whats in store for her. Although she's glad that her father got a promotion, she wishes she could stay in Canada.
When Patty arrives to lunch on the first day of school, she already knows that her year is going to be terrible. A rotten, blonde girl, who she heard being called Bianca, came up to Patty. She seemed nice walking over, but Patty knew just what type of girl she was when she spoke. She called her names like "Fatty Patty" and "ugly, weird girl."
Why did dad have to get a promotion?😔
As Patty is leaving the lunch room a couple of days later, she gets stopped by Bianca and her sidekick. They begin to taunt Patty, as usual, but today they were only able to spit out a few words. Two familiar looking girls came up next to Patty and stood up to her. Patty was so happy that she couldn't speak. She knew that today was the beginning of a whole new world.
When Patty arrived at her house, she went straight to Stanley's room. Even though he will not understand her, she loves telling Stan about her days. Patty told him everything. She told him about Bianca, the girls who stood up for her and all about school.
The next day at school, Patty was nervous that Bianca would bully her again, but when she arrived at lunch, she was pleasantly surprised. Waiting for her at her lunch table were the two girls who stood up for her. Patty was so excited, that she practically ran to the table. This was the best thing anyone had ever done for her.
