  • agreed!!
  • WERE STARTING A REVOLT!!!
  • says toussanint
  • I don´t want to work for anyone anymore
  • This was known as the Lousiana Purchase.
  • I´m sick of being controlled!!!!
  • We need to make a end to this
  • Let´s come together and do something.
  • To the people to Haiti, my name is Toussaint and we are here to start a revolt. It is time for all slaves to be free!!!
  • As the French, they owned the island of Haiti which made them very mad that Toussaint was trying to take over. Napolean, the French emperor called for war after failing once to stop this independence movement Toussaint was creating in Haiti.
  • This is our Island, GET OUT.
  • NOO!! This is our Island and we own it, you can't just take over and start a revolt!!
  • (1) Hello, a pleasure to meet you Napolean. Although my beliefs of staying by the book (constitution) are strong, I am willing to buy all New Orleans from you for 10 million dollars.
  •  (3) Yes, I will purchase this land for 15 million. I will keep in touch about the money.
  • (2) Hi Thomas Jefferson, it's a pleasure to meet you. I desperately need money to fund for my war going on against Toussaint in Haiti. I am willing to sell you all of Lousiana, not just the New Orleans for 15 million dollars. Will you take my offer?
  • After the Lousiana territory was bought for 15 million by Thomas Jefferson, he decided to go on the Lewis and Clark expedition. This was called the Lewis and Clark expedition because a man named William Clark served as the co-leader of the corps of the discovery on the trip. Furthermore, a man named Meriwether Lewis was asked by Jefferson to Lead the expedition. This was a to explore all of Lousiana.
  • Meriwether Lewis
  • William Clark
  • During the expedition, the people involved in it encountered tribes of the Rocky Mountains. Because of Sacagawea, and her history in being in a tribe as a young child, she understood everything the Indians were saying which in the end helped them get through a lot of their travels.
  • Sacagawea
  • Directions and locations Sacagawea was able to understand which is why she went on this journey
