We are learning about the causes of the Revolutionary War!
The king got what he wanted, so the Indians or colonist feelings didn't matter.
The first part of The Revolutionary War was The French and Indian War. The British one this war with the help of us, the Indians.
The Indians were told that the colonist could have their land, and would not mess or be on the Indians side that they wanted. The Indians did not like what was going on.
After The Sugar Act the king passed The Stamp Act. The Stamp Act was where the colonist had to pay for good so on be shipped out and shipped in. They also were only allowed to trade goods with the English.
The king went in debt after the war. To help pay back some of the money he owed he passed The Sugar Act. The Sugar Act was where colonist had to pay tax on sugar. Back then, food items didn't taste good without sugar. The colonist got very upset about The Sugar Act.
The next thing that happened was The Sons of Liberty. One cause that made The Sons of Liberty was the king putting many more taxes on items.
The next event that happened was The Sons of Liberty. The cause for this was the king taxing all of these items that the colonist use in their daily life. The effect for this was the colonist started boycotts and planned different things.
One more cause is that The Sons of Liberty captured and protested. The effect of this was the colonist got The Stamp Act removed.
The next act was The Townshend Act. One cause for this was that the Charles Townshend put tax on lead, paint, glass, and ect. The effect for this was that the colonist were upset.
The next cause is that The Townshend Act gave the council the authority to search the colonist's things. The effect for this was that the colonist were extra mad.
The next act was the Boston Masacure. The Boston Masacure started when the colonist started calling the British soldiers names and throwing things at them. In the end, the colonist were very mad.
One of the next events that happened was The Boston Massacure. On this historical event a bunch of colonist threw 342 chests of tea into the Boston Harbor.
