Scene 6: A Bitter Sweet Reunion
Mordred... Mordred, my son!
On his quest to change his fate he comes across a magical garden in the Forest Perilous. In the garden Mordred lets free a caged hawk that he feels bad for. The Hawk revealed himself to be Merlin after he killed Nyneves husdands Falcon. Because Nyneve made the Falcon and Gull with her soul, it linked all of them together. Resulting in all three dying. Merlin then tells/shows Mordred his fate. Mordred is consumed with guilt, grief, and despair.
Mordred goes back to Camelot and becomes drowned by hopelessness. As a last ditch effort he asks a Druid harpist if he can remove his soul. Mordred asks King Arthur to take care of his soul. During the ritual Mordreds soul goes out of his body as a moth and the harpist raven eats it before Arthur could take the soul in his box.
I feel.. nothing.
Years later, Merlins prophecy unfolds and Mordred is killed by Arthur during their battle and Arthur is mortally injured by Mordred. To heal from his wounds Arthur is taken to Avalon. There Arthur awakes to Vivien the one who gave him the Excaliber and Mordred once again with his soul. Morderd is a Raven now and the two can finally be free of their bonds to their fate.
