Korban Pesach- Olivia Peller
This storyboard does not have a description.
On the 10th of the month, each household must take a lamb (If the household is too small, neighbors may share according to their ability to eat) 12:3
You must take a perfect male lamb, sheep, or goat. Until the 14th of the month keep him perfect and all of Bnei Yisrael will slaughter it in the afternoon 12:4-6 (Chizkuni 12:5- The Jews has to take a perfect lamb because one may have been tempted to take a blemished one so that they would not be blamed for stealing an Egyptian's animal because they also worshipped only non-blemished animals)
And you shall put the blood on your doorposts and on this night you shall eat the cooked flesh with Matzah and bitter herbs. It is prohibited to leave for the next morning, but if so, burn the remainders. 12:7-10
You must eat it fully clothed, with shoes and a staff in your hand. You shall eat it with haste because it is the Korban Pesach for Hashem 12: 11
And I, Hashem, will pass through the land and kill all the Egyptian firstborns. And if you are a Jew and have blood on your doorpost, I will pass over you and you'll survive. 12: 12-13
And you shall celebrate this and have Yom Tov on the 1st and 7th and eat Matzah for 7 days. In the first month (Nissan) on the 14th until the 21st you should eat Matzah. If you eat unleavened bread, your soul will be cut off from Yisrael 12: 14-20
