Her step-sisters and the step-mother however did not know her, and thought she must be a foreign princess, for she looked so beautiful in the golden dress. He had the whole staircase smeared with pitch and her slippr was stuck when she left.
  • The next day the prince said to his father, "No one shall be my wife than she who fits the shoe." So he went on an adventure to find his wife. Cinderellas sisters were glad, because they had pretty feet. The eldest sister went upstairs to try it on and the mother went with her. She couldn't fit on the shoe because her toe was too big so her mother said "cut it off you wont need it when your royalty." So she cut off her toe and put the shoe on. But the birds from the hazel tree warned him and he saw the blood. The youngest sister went upstairs to try it on and the mother went with her.
