  • Ride you this afternoon?
  • My lord, I will not.
  • Ay, my good lord.
  • I wish your horses swift and sure of foot. Farewell.
  • Adieu, till you return at night. Goes Fleance with you?
  • Ay, my good lord: our time does call upon ‘s.
  • Sirrah, a word with you: attend those men our pleasure?
  • Bring them before us.
  • In this context, Sirrah is used to call Macbeth's servant.
  • They are, my lord, without the palace gate.
  • Know that it was he [Banquo] in the times past. This I made good to you in our last conference.

  • Was it not yesterday we spoke?
  • You made it known to us.
  • It was, so please your highness.
  • In order to make the murders to want to kill Banquo, Macbeth needs to remind them of his wrongdoings from the past.
  • Both of you know Banquo was your enemy.
  • Are you so gospeled, to pray for this good man, whose beggared yours forever?
  • We are men, my liege.
  • True, my lord.
  • It is concluded: Banquo, thy soul’s flight, if it find heaven, must find it out tonight.
