In this scene, I couldn't make Tom look confused or drunk, but in this scene Myrtle made him angry after talking about Daisy. He ends up punching her in the face and breaking her nose.
When Nick arrives home, he sees Gatsby for the first time, a handsome young man standing on the lawn with his arms reaching out toward the dark water. Nick looks out at the water, but all he can see is a distant green light that might mark the end of a dock.
(pardon the forklift as there weren't that many scenes) In this scene, Tom and Nick (not pictured) go to see Myrtle, who is he having an affair with, and go out with her. After Tom teases George Wilson (her husband) Myrtle makes up a lie that she has to go visit a family member, and that Tom is coming with her.
(couldn't fit Jordan Baker in this scene) As for the other part, Nick and Jordan go to Gatsby's house for a dinner party, where he formally meets Gatsby. He talks with him towards the end of the party and even make plans to go somewhere the next morning.
I couldn't depict it here too well, but this shows how disconnected Gatsby makes himself from his guests at HIS party. It goes ot show what kind of person Gatsby is, and how he carries himself.
Towards the end of chapter three, we find out a bit more about Jordan Baker. She claims she is a golf champion, but she cheated her way to get there. (I could not find a trophy for her to hold)
