In Thebes' civil war, there were two brothers on opposite sides, Eteocles and Polyneices who both died in the war. The king, Creon, decided to honor Eteocles and publicly shame Polyneices by leaving him on the battlefield to rot. This was the harshest punishment at the time.
Leave her to die in the cave.
ceAntigone and Ismene are the sisters of the brothers. Antigone wants to give Poly a proper burial but Ismene is too scared of the King.
