  • DACA was started in 2012 by Barack Obama, but now it is up to Congress to decide whether these people will lose protection from deportation.

  • DACA recipients are children who arrived in the U.S. before age 16, and almost 800,000 people have been approved. DACA allows them to obtain a driver's license, have a job, and enroll in college.

  • I am Barack Obama and I was the 44th president of the United States.  I passed DACA, because I believe that people should be given a chance at a better life. 
  • I believe all people deserve a fair life, Forest don't discriminate. Slogan“I guess we ain’t strangers any more" when Forest led immigrants in a march on Washington in March 2018
  • ‘Dreamers’ and their supporters marched on Washington, D.C., which was supposed to be the deadline for Congress to find a legislative fix for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
  • Forrest is now the spokesperson for the DACA program.
