Less than 3% of foster care children go on to graduate from a 4 year college.
She is working many hours in order to pay for her college tuition as she is living at a homeless center.
Her grades in college were getting worse and worse because as she is working so much to pay for it all she has no time to do homework or study. She officially has been kicked out of college.
Her boss fires her from her job because she was losing focus after finding out that she had failed out of school.
The world does not understand what these kids are going through. Children are being taken away from the problems in their family instead of the government trying to truly help. They rather remove a child from their family then help fix the problems. As soon as that girl was fired and had to leave the homeless shelter no one will now know what is going to happen to her as she lives on the streets. These children are fading away from the world and no one even cares to notice. Clearly, the system is in a state of corruption if it cannot simply help a child get a job, go to school, or even have a place to live.
She walks into the homeless shelter that night and it is so packed that she leaves because there is not enough space.
She is now living homeless on the streets with no job, food, or family.
