Lester spotted out his friend Tip. However, Tip came to remind him that none of the could escape the last ride at 11:59.
I regret everything. What would life would've been like marrying Louise and having kids? Or taking that job at the mill in Opelika.
When 11:59 came, Daddy Joe couldn't even escape the Death Train as strong as he was. Any porter that hears the whistle at 11:59 better clear things up here before afterlife before the end of 24 hours and be ready when the train comes at the next light.
Lester spent his night plotting to escape the train. Although he knew it was nearly impossible to escape. Meanwhile, he sat nervously in his chair all day talked himself into starving and going without water all day so he couldn't choke, die of food poisoning, or cause a cooking fire. Then, he shut of f the space heater to avoid explosion, nailed doors & windows to avoid intruders, and unplugged electrical appliances incase of a storm.
At noon, as time is ticking away Lester heard knocking and footsteps at his door but he refused to answer. Meanwhile, he also starts thinking about how he wish he could go back in time picking job and getting married to Louise. He sits and regrets everything about his life.
Lester fell asleep then woke up to a nightmare, hearing his heartbeat as "ticktok" "ticktok" Sleep had overtaken him and he repeats to himself a bible verse. "...I walk thorough the Valley of the shadow of Death, I shall fear no evil." He wanted to know what time it was but he had to strike a match which could lead to a gas leak.
Lester sat stiffly, wondering how much longer he had or if he was winning by actually escaping this train. However, in this silence he heard a train whistle clearly. After while, not caring about setting off an explosion he strikes a match to check the time. 11:57. Then, an eruption happened in his heart, feeling anxious, needing more time.
