  • Quince: Not possible, only he can play Pyramus in all of Athens. (mourns) Flute: Exactly, such a hardworking man. Quince: And the most handsome, voice is the paramour of sweet Flute: Paramour? That's bad, I’m sure you meant paragon
  • Enter Snug
  • Snug:The duke left the temple and 2 or 3 guys may have gotten married as well. If only we could do our play.
  • Flute: Bottom would have gotten six pence a day, if not even more from the duke himself. He deserves it, playing Pyramus or nothing. (mourns with the craftsmen)
  • Enter Bottom (Craftsmen rejoice)
  • Bottom: Where ma bros at? Quince: Oh Bottom! What a relief you magnificent boy! (dances) Bottom: I can tell you a lot, but don’t ask or you’ll spoil the suprise. Quince: Bro, tell us.
  • Bottom: All I’ll say is the duke already had dinner. Now let's get our costumes on, meet me at the palace ASAP. Thisbe, get some CLEAN underwear. Like legit bro. And don’t eat garlic or onion because our breath would smell bad. Sweet breath means a sweet play. Let’s go! (runs off)
