  •  HELLO, CIS FACULTY!     ON FRIDAY WE DISCUSSED HOW COMICS/GRAPHIC NOVELS CAN BE USED FOR A RANGE OF INSTRUCTIONAL PURPOSES. I CREATED THIS ONE THAT SHOWS OUR ROLE PLAY OF THE INTEGRATED CURRICULUM APPROACHES WE ACTED OUT IN OUR FIRST PD SESSION.

  • I AM TEACHING MY MUSIC CONTENT.
  • I AM TEACHING MY ELA CONTENT.
  • MULTIDISCIPLINARY: TEACHERS TEACH CONTENT FROM THEIR DISCIPLINE THAT CONNECTS TO A TOPIC SELECTED BY THE GROUP. A THEMATIC UNIT IS AN EXAMPLE OF THIS APPROACH.
  • MAYBE I'LL HAVE MY MATH CLASS ADD UP BAGS OF TRASH.
  • I THINK WE SHOULD DO POLLUTION AS OUR TOPIC. YOU CAN CONNECT YOUR CONTENT.
