  • Phaeton is a half-god, son of Helios. He is in town when he notices a gorgeous young lady called Delona.
  • Crossing the Threshold
  • Phaeton is embarrassed by Lexicus for not having a chariot. Lexicus is the champion of chariot races. Delona is associated with Lexicus for his accomplishments in the chariot races.
  • Tests/Allies/Enemies
  • Dionysus (God of wine) loses his prized possession of orchards to Zeus. Dionysus tries to convince Phaeton to take his father's sun chariot for the race so Dionysus may win his Orchads back, yet Phaeton refuses.
  • Reward/Return
  • Phaeton responds to Lexicus request to race and races him before sunrise. He goes and takes his father's sun chariot to race when the horses​ go out of control and Phaeton can not mannage them.
  • Phaeton rides into the sky turning lakes into steam, making forest fires, almost destroying the earth. Phaeton takes control of the horses and turns back the time undoing his mischieve.
  • Phaeton returns using his own chariot, defeats Lexicus and wins the heart of Delona.
