Jem and Scout find things in the hole in front of the Radley house.
Tom Robinson's trial took place and he was found guilty.
"To Kill a Mockingbird" is a novel told in the narrators point of view, Scout Fintch. She has an older brother Jem, dad Atticus, their cook Cal, and Dill the kids' friend. The kids were very interested in the Radley house and a mysterious man that lived in it named Boo who never came out of the house. They do many things to try and lure Boo out of his house, but nothing works. Atticus is a lawyer and he is representing a black man, named Tom, that was falsely accused of rape and he ends up loosing the case which sends Tom to jail, then as he tries to escape he gets shot which kills him. A little while after as the kids are walking home from a pageant they get attacked by the man that accused Tom of rape along with his daughter. Boo ends up coming out of hiding to kill Bob and save the children. In the end Scout walks Boo home and never sees him again.
Tom tried to run, got shot, and died.
The children were attacked by Bob Ewell and Boo Radley came out of hiding to save them.
