Jesus was crucified 50 days before the beginning of Pentecost
I am off to Jerusalem to experience what the new feast is like.
Pentecost used to be a Jewish feast before it became a Christian feast. 50 days after Passover, people would travel from all over, to offer the first-fruits of the wheat harvest in the Temple and they gave thanks to God.
I have arrived in Jerusalem
The disciples were praising God. People heard the messages in their own languages
One of Jesus’s disciples neared Peter explained to the crowds that this was a work of God
I baptise you! The Lord will forever be with you.
The Jews wanted to be baptised so they could join the Christian faith.
