The School Life of Osieauna! From Tacoma, WA - Milton-Freewater, OR
The first day taking the bus to school was beyond exciting. All of the kids talking, singing, laughing, etc. What a fun experience!
There were tons of students, some that looked like me and some that didn't. But we never really focused on that. Not in class and not on the play ground. I LOVED GOING TO SCHOOL.
Osieauna is an exceptional student, we would like to put her into our gifted program. What do you two ladies think about that?
The first time I felt someone actually recognized all the hard work I put in.
NEW PLACE YAY!!!
Mom told us tomorrow morning we will be heading to move to Oregon in a small town, no one has ever heard of. I remember visitng my grandma there when I was younger. No one looked like me there, and it never bothered me. Until..
A new school.. New friends.. New people.. What if I don't fit in..
How does this movie affect you? (movie about black people)
My first time I was aware that people definitely saw me for my ethnicity in class..
Here we go again...
Mrs. Johnson's US HISTORY CLASS
How does it affect me? Why aren't you asking anyone else how it affects them? Are you really pointing out that I am black to everyone?
I HATE THIS SCHOOL
DID SHE REALLY JUST ASK THAT?
What if I am not accepted in the teaching field because i'm not the picture of an ideal teacher..?
You will be a great teacher BECAUSE you have what alot of other teachers don't the experience of thinking you will not fit the ideal position of a teacher. WE NEED MORE TEACHERS THAT LOOK LIKE YOU.
She encouraged me to become a teacher to help those who have never had a teacher that look like them. Just like me. "Let your experience be a blessing to those who need it".
