  • The very first battle of the War. The Americans fought well but the British were more experienced so they won. When the first shot was fired, it was later called,"The shot heard around the world".
  • Saratoga
  • The Battle of Bunker Hill was a very close match but Britain got a second Victory. Ammunition was low for the Americans, so they barely fired. General Prescott was even quoted saying,"Don't fire til you see the whites of their eyes
  • Charles Town
  • As General George Washington took command in this battle, The victory gave the colonists much needed guns and supplies
  • Yorktown
