In the great plains environment was very different, the they build tepees and follow animals for great distance to kill them and then eat the animal. They build tepees often because they follow the animal in the night and in the day and in the night you need somewhere to sleep and they build tepees because they were easy to put up and down and to follow the animals for a long time that was the easiest thing to build for lots of action. They eat buffalo and big animals to feed the whole tribe and used to bones for tools back on their land for other things.
they ate whatever they hunted for and ate it. That is why they lived in tepees because they were easy to break down and put back up. This was helpful because if they saw something good to hunt them, kill, eat they kept up with the animal and took the tepees up in the night time and put them down in the morning to keep up with the animal they were looking to eat. they ate buffalo because it was big enough to feed the whole tribe and did not watse it they used to bones of the animal to build things for others in thier tribe.
In their Art and daily life they would cut wood and chop down trees to get wood for their tepees that needed wood to stand as the legs for the teppes that they lived in. Also they got wood for campfires to make to get warm at night and to make a campfire you need wood to burn and make a fire.
